Carrier Air Conditioner PCB Board – Description

The Carrier AC PCB is the electronic control board responsible for managing and coordinating the air conditioner's operation. Carrier uses both inverter and non-inverter technologies, so PCB designs vary accordingly.

🧠 Core Function:

The PCB acts as the main controller, receiving input from sensors and the user (via remote), then sending commands to operate:

  • The compressor

  • Indoor/outdoor fan motors

  • Swing motors

  • Sensors

  • Display units

In inverter models, the PCB also adjusts compressor speed for energy efficiency. In non-inverter models, the PCB simply switches the compressor ON/OFF via relays.
